The lightness of being depends on being grounded

Through the practice of balancing poses, we will explore what does it mean that something must remain still so that something else can work. When this happens movement, form, and breath are communicating. This enables the breath to have access to new places.

About the Event

The lightness of being depends on being grounded

How does philosophy embodiment work? Practice on the mat, skills you can transfer in your life. This week through the practice of balancing poses we will explore what does it mean that something must remain still so that something else can work. When this happens movement, form, and breath are communicating. This enables the breath to have access to new places.

A relaxing and balancing formal pranayama practice will follow the Asana practice.

Remaining on the theme of different forces, we will seal the class reading the story The wind that weaves time a beautiful song about awakening and union that creates extra time for the heart of the world.

This class is part of our Yoga Teacher Training, through this session I also want to highlight the principles of Vinyasa Krama, or intelligent progressive practice, right steps in the right direction so will build our foundation starting with simply balancing on one foot bringing the exploration to half-moon and revolved half-moon.
